Introducing Embrace Her!💜
Basketball ACT is excited to launch Embrace Her; a beginner basketball program designed specifically for girls with Intellectual Disability aged 12–18 years old.
This 4-week FREE pilot program will run on Monday afternoons during Term 4 from the 23rd of November 2026, and will provide participants with the opportunity to come along, develop their basketball skills and, most importantly, grow a love of the game in a supportive environment.
Participants can expect:

Session Details are as below:
Day/Time: Mondays, 4pm - 5pm
Dates: 23 November - 14 December 2026
Location: ANU Basketball Courts
Sessions will be led by an experienced and qualified coach, with a focus on building confidence, developing fundamental basketball skills and having fun.
